Originally, this year's vacation plan was the Grand Canyon (with stops in Yellowstone, Mesa Verde, maybe Vegas, and maybe elsewhere).
That was the plan, Stan.
Then there were two issues. One was money. I've spent a lot of it recently, on my new tooth, on my new fridge, on heating my house through a long cold winter. The other issue was time: not only did Stephen and I miscommunicate on our vacation dates, people were telling us that two weeks wasn't enough time to make the trip.
So the Grand Canyon is now postponed (theoretically until autumn) - it's been there for many millenia, so I'm sure it'll still be there when we go.
Instead, we are going to drive to Thunder Bay to visit Monica. We leave on Friday. Stay tuned, for another exciting adventure - this time, it's a road trip!
